Introducing the person
Born in Berlin in 1983 he's up to no good in life while actually using his cold snout paired with depth. In most cases he passes life intrinsicly motivated, completed basic primary school in 1996 with a recommondation for Realschule (type of secondary school) - he went to grammar school (in Germany called Gymnasium).
Seven years later he got the general qualification for university entrance. Afterwards he trained as a retail merchant while having finished his alternative civilian service on a ward for psychogeriatrics (caring about elderly people suffering from dementia, delirium, depression and other conditions) a few months ago. Since Oct, 2006 he's a student - having finished his apprenticeship and having denied a job based upon 400 EUR before.
Studying International Media & Computing he tries to find his way towards the media as well as the IT sector. So far he gained programming experience in lectures where HTML, CSS, Java and C++ were taught. Working at Cornelsen he was in duty of co-creating the politically influenced buildup simulation called Genius - a proprietary scripting language was used, built by a single person. He still hasn't got the sense behind.
A short trip to the world of saving flora and fauna - working at the Whale and Dolphine Conservation Society - made him smell a very different flavour than he was used to. A more common field was when he stepped into the world of insurances and white-collar professionals having been faced with his profession of making a good salesman.
Social competence, rhetorics, as well as the cognitive abilities were asked and boosted - in a training running synchronously to his studies. Learnt stuff and hands-on experience were accomplished with conviction. The dogmatic dress code on the one hand and the very uniformed appearance on the other hand played a cat-and-mouse game with his strong interior liberal opinion. The mouse lost - the ideals survived.
Since 2008 he's involved in the Game based eVideo project at his University of Applied Sciences FHTW Berlin. Working as a student assistent he does administration for its mediawiki, writes posts for its weblog, does Twitter, Ustream, creates, edits, cuts videos, is in duty of creating graphics, podcasts and lives a Second Life.
